Recently, deviantArt made unannounced changes to our profile pages. The changes affect subscribers and non-subscibers and have to do with displaying the status of membership. I'm sure you're all aware of these changes. I, for one, am not happy with the changes. I see no benefit to them and would prefer to return to the way our member status was previously displayed. Please read and fav these news articles and take a moment to comment and state your opinion.

Good news for gift givers. It's now possible to gift subscriptions anonymously. If you want your gift to be anonymous and not displayed on the gift recipient's profile page be sure to check the box that reads I want to give this gift totally anonymously before purchasing the gift. Now dA just needs to provide an option for whether you want your gift giver's name displayed on your page or not. They also need to change the wording of the membership status. Many deviants resent the "Needs premium membership" and "Premium Membership" display on their profiles. I agree with this and hope dA will also provide a solution for this.
